Hire the Building 

Oakham Baptist Church is blessed with a great building and we seek to bless our community by offering it out to use for charities and community groups seeking to make a positive impact in the county.
If you're interested in looking around the building just come in, we're open every day other than Tuesdays and Saturday, or you can arrange a visit by emailing info@oakhambaptist.org.uk

Please note that as the church is active throughout the week, the premises will be in operation by the church's staff and ministry teams during normal working hours.


The building has a number of rooms available:

The Sanctuary Room

This is our largest room and is where we gather for communal worship. It can be utilised as a great large meeting venue with chairs and tables available, as well as a presentation hall or space for community events. It has a central door that opens onto Melton Road with a seating area and outdoor space also available for use. Seated Capacity is 140 and it can comfortably seat 70 around tables. The Sanctuary room has state of the art lighting and a fully integrated digital presentation and sound system meaning you can control all your AV requirements with a tablet; there is no need for an extra person to run it.
This meeting space is a popular venue for Rutland County Council, Rutland Youth services and other larger groups. Booking is essential.
 

The Back Room

This room is perfect for smaller meetings or for meeting clients and other individuals. It has audio visual capability including a large wall mounted smart TV with WiFi connection for streaming and casting from other smart devices, as well as HDMI connections for personal computers. The room can seat 30 or can host 20 around tables.
It is situated next to the rear door of the church building and looks out onto the church's garden. 
This meeting space is often in use by numerous community and support groups throughout the day and in the evenings, and as such booking is essential due to its limited availability through the week.

 

The Upper Room

Only available by special arrangement, the upper room has a wall mounted Smart TV system and can be fitted with chairs and tables as desired. Bookings for this room are taken on an individual basis due to the church staff operating from this space throughout the week.
 

Kitchen Facilities

Oakham Baptist Church has a small kitchen making it suitable for refreshments and light snacks.
 

Other Facilities

The building has disabled access, disabled toilets, baby change facilities and free WiFi.
