YOUTH at OBC

We love young people at OBC and our vision is to create a safe place in which they can explore their faith, grow as a community of believers and form good friendships. We believe that God has an amazing plan for everyone of them and we want to help them grow and develop in their giftings being very much part of the church family.

On a Sunday morning the OBC older youth (from age 13) have an opportunity to be part of various teams in the church such as worship, AV and kids work as well as attend their youth sessions.

Once a year we have a ‘Youth Led’ service in which the young people are involved in all aspects of the service including welcoming people on the door, leading the service, worship, preaching, and serving refreshments

We currently have two youth groups sessions that meet on a Sunday morning:

Connect - Year 6-8

Encounter - Year 9-11
